With the Protocol Pro there is a continuous communication between production processes and all variations are logged and can be analysed. With a profile generated with the analyses, the image data, ribbon wise, can be compensated. With Protocol Pro, your production data is protocolled, documented and controllable.

Protocol Pro is a connection between DTG Server Pro, CellCheck Pro2 and the Impose2 system, and can be optimised to customer specifications.
From CellCheck Pro, the cell width and cell length of the test cut are recorded in the protocol. DTG Server Pro supplies the Stylus lifetime. The actual Stylus Angle is recorded from the Stylus package and in Phase 2 of the project, measured in Stylus Inspection Pro. With all these parameters, the Protocol Pro calculates the optimal correction values for the engraving Amplifier, and suggests the optimal correction values. It supports the operator in calculating the changes in the correction values by suggesting corrections like “Max -10, 50% +3, Min -5, Vib+6”.

Depending on the quality of the copper, the operator has to use his experience, to calculate the correct amplifier correction parameters.

The calculated test cut values and the deviation of the target value, together with the stylus wear and the characteristics of the engraving head are recorded in Impose2 under the engraving head’s serial number. Every engraving head is tested for its characteristics with every service for dampening or magnetising.
Impose2 now calculates compensated ribbon data, according to the deviation from the target values.
In the latest version of Impose2 there is a feature to store source files for CellCheck Pro, using the correct job name, number of ribbons and most importantly the target values to the test cuts, all depending on the parameters like paper, used in the job.
The cylinder protocol is stored in Impose2 and is available for analysis and logging.
