CellCheck Pro

The measuring device is an integrated system consisting of a video microscope
and a Windows Touch panel PC with software for measuring.
This system is designed for measuring electromechanically
engraved gravure cylinders.
The innovative technology enables you to record
and protocolize the measured values as well as images of the measured cells.

is developed as a replacemant system for the old  DotCheck  Master1. Therefore it is most suitible for packageing and decor engraving machines.

Old electronical damaged measuring units  Messgeräte "DotCheck Master I" can be used with CellCheckPro 1 as they will be retooled and equipped with modern pc technic.

is a completely new compact hand camera, developed by Zellos/DMA.

The camera stands out becouse of its stable and robust construction. A wide handhold  enables the user to put the camera perfectly balanced on to the cylinder.

is a measuring system, which was developed for the special needs of a multichanneled engraving systems.

The dolly is positioning the camera half automatically, which is outstanding for this measuring system. The dolly is installed in the machine wagon. The camera drives in a 45° angle from the opposite site of the supports on to the engraving cylinder.

includes all the advantages of V2.3 and the dolly is driven by a side-drive motor. For this reason the camera is able to find the engraving lines autonomously.

The pc system is installed sidewards in the gear tower.  Das PC-System wird seitlich am Getriebeturm aufgebaut. Therefore is is possible that no vibration is transfered to the dolly and the camera.

    The application is especially suitable for one channel engraving machines in packaging or decor engraving 

The advantages of CellCheck Pro 2.0:
Once set, the focus remains the same for all measurements on that cylinder.

The camera never touches the cylinder, so there's no risk for damaging either.

In detail:
After the TestCut process, the camera is brought into position with the help of
sensors to find the TestCut cells, in axial and circumferential direction.
The screen shows the Highlight, Mid-Tone and Shadow cell at
the same time, for easy measurement.

After measuring the TestCut of a ribbon, the camera is moved
to the next ribbon, and finding the TestCut results there, again with the help of the sensors. The screen stays in focus throughout all measurements.
After correcting the Amplifier Settings, the next TestCut can be started.
When unloading the cylinder, the camera moves into it's parking position.

The software transfers the cellmeasurement data into an Excel spreadsheet,
enabling you to monitor minimal variations,
and helping you in calculating the correction values for the engraving amplifier.

The CellCheck Pro improves the accuracy, the stability and quality of the engraving process and allows for a central storage of protocols.
